In 2019, we left our corporate careers in Turin to build a dream for our family. Welcome to Tenuta MonteOliveto.

The Decision to Change
"Before Tenuta MonteOliveto, our lives were very different. We lived in Turin, both holding high-responsibility positions in different companies. We were successful, but we were always traveling, rushing, and—most importantly—we had too little time for what mattered most: our family.
In 2019, we looked at our two sons, Michele and Gabriele, who were still little at the time, and we made a bold choice. We decided to leave the corporate world behind, step off the treadmill, and find a place where we could build a future together, surrounded by nature."

A Home, Not Just a Hotel
"We didn't want to erase the past. Our renovation of the 4 cottages was gentle, designed to preserve the rustic charm while adding the comfort and personal touch of a real home.
We brought our lives here. The historic stable, now our intimate dining room, is the heart of this transformation. We restored the original stone manger and furnished the space with our family heirlooms—including the piano Giuseppe grew up with. It is here that we share our love for good food and conviviality."

Why "MonteOliveto"?

"We fell in love with this estate the moment we drove through the gates. It had a different name back then, but we felt it needed an identity that reflected its deep roots in the territory.
We chose the name Tenuta MonteOliveto as a tribute to the geography and history of this land. The estate borders a majestic calanco (a steep, clay cliff) historically known as 'MonteOliveto.' Ancient records tell us that centuries ago, this sunny slope was dedicated to olive cultivation. Today, the name honors that ancient agricultural tradition and the unique landscape that embraces us."

The Future Generation

"Today, Tenuta MonteOliveto is a true family affair. While Michele and Gabriele are busy with their studies during the year, in the summer you will often find them working alongside us, welcoming guests with a smile.
They have grown up breathing the air of the Langhe and plan to stand by our side in the future, continuing the tradition of hospitality we started.
