Truffle Hunting in Piedmont
Piedmont is the world capital of the white truffle, and the woods around Vesime hide some of the most prized specimens in the region. A truffle hunt in the Alta Langa is a truly unforgettable experience — an ancient ritual that connects you to the land in a way few activities can.
Through our local partners, we can organise a private truffle hunting excursion with an experienced trifolau (truffle hunter) and his dog. The session typically lasts two to three hours through the forest, followed by a tasting of freshly found truffles.
If you are visiting in autumn, do not miss the famous Alba White Truffle Fair, just 40 minutes from the estate — the most prestigious truffle event in the world.
